• Martha Flores – Lead Preschool Teacher –
• My name is Martha Flores. I am from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. I started working for YPW Spanish Immersion School, beginning in August 2012. I bring 11+ years of solid and proven experience teaching in Pre-K. 10 years experience teaching in Special Education and elementary school level groups. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Education from “Escuela Normal Nuevo Leon, Monterrey, N.L. Mex. I am happily married (32 years and Going), with four sons-Damian, Joaquin, Leonardo and Sebastian, and recently my granddaughter “Hanna”. We have three pets (one dog-“Spicy”, two cats-“Negra” and “Pushy Foo”).
  When I am not at work and, to recharge my batteries, I like listen to music, read, exercise (walking,”Pilates”). My favorite food is “Enchiladas” and “ Mole Poblano”. Rose and White are my favorite colors. My favorite children’s story is “Prince Valiant”. My teaching philosophy is “Learning through Discovery”I believe in providing a warm and loving atmosphere for all children. All children have different learning styles that a teacher needs to incorporate into the classroom. Children enjoy learning and engaging in hands on experiences. As a teacher, it is important to address all needs and make learning fun and exciting. I am a motivated and determined teacher.

• Alma – Preschool Assistant Teacher –
  My name is Alma R. Dominguez. I was born in Mexico. I graduated from nursing school in Toluca- Mexico. Where I lived until age 21 I have two sons and a daughter the oldest is 17 years old. I have a dog named Molly Saenz.
  I live in Austin- Texas since I was 21 years old. I studied at Austin Community College three courses of ESL. Now, I’m very happy to be part of the YPW Spanish Immersion School team to continue educating and nurturing your children. I have been working for the last few years with young children and I’m planning on expanding my knowledge, experience and love for children while working with you all.
