- Santa Estrada – Lead Infant Teacher –
- My name is Santa Estrada I was born and raised in Cuernavaca, Morelos in Mexico. I’ve lived 10 years in Austin, Texas. I have been working in YPW since 2005. I have a CDC (Child Development Certificate). The children are my passion. They make me smile every day. I enjoy reading and singing to the babies. I am very enthusiastic, creative and warm. I love to read and walk around the park with my husband. In my free time I enjoy playing with my granddaughter.
- Iris Mauricio -Assistant Infant Teacher –
- Hi! I began working at YPW in March 2014. I was born and raised in El Salvador. I have one son who is my heart and soul. I came to Austin in 2001. Since then I have been in love with all the outdoor activities Austin offers. My good friend – Heidy (YPW Toddler Lead Teacher) – told me about this opportunity to come to YPW to nurture and educate your children. I love being around children and watching them grow. I have been working with young children for the last two years. I am very happy to work here at YPW and look forward to building many positive memories with your children.
- Heidy Lopez – Lead Toddler Teacher –
- My name is Heidy Lopez, I’m from Guatemala. In 2010 I moved to Austin from my home town. I have been working at YPW since June 2012. I enjoy very much nurturing and loving your babies. I’m planning on getting more training so I can become a certified teacher. I enjoy reading, cooking, playing basketball and helping at my church with Sunday school.
I personally think that this field is a very life-enriching. My favorite activity with the children is singing to them as we go for a “walk” outside. The best thing about working at YPW is the uplifting environment created by the staff. - Laura Rodriguez – Floater –
- My name is Elva Laura Rodriguez. I have been working with children (infants, toddlers, and preschoolers) for seventeen years and in YPW since May of 2011. I have taken twenty hours of training every year and attended various workshops (in child development and administration). A major part of my work experience consists of working as lead teacher for infants in Austin Independent School District for eleven years. I have my director credentials and was a center director for five years. I strongly believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating environment, in which to grow and mature intellectually, emotionally, physically, and socially.I grew up in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico and attended Laredo City College. I have been married for over twenty years and I have a daughter with masters in Health Psychology who is working towards her license to become a professional counselor. I run and practice yoga regularly, and enjoy reading and painting in my spare time. I look forward to meeting every one of you and children!

Hello, I’m Jorlibeth Santos but everyone that knows me calls me by Jorli.
I was born and raised in Merida – Venezuela. After obtaining a bachelors degree in Advertising and Marketing I moved to New York to study English at St. John’s University. Few years later I moved to Austin and fell in love with the people and culture. For the last 5 years I have been enjoying working in Early Childhood education. I like to work very closely with our young children, parents and YPW staff. My wish its not only to continue our school excellence but also build on it. I have no doubt our teachers and staff can make our school an even better place to nurture an educate your child.
